Miyabi Japanese Restaurant- Route 38 in Mt. Laurel, NJ
Fresh and delicious! After my first visit to Miyabi, I am willing to say that the restaurant made a pretty good first impression. The sushi is what people obviously come here for and they do not disappoint.
The Miso soup was not too salty as many places put in way too much miso. Ahhh, we were off to a good start. I ordered quite a few different rolls, all of which came out fresh and tasted great! The rolls have a perfect balance of flavor - just enough rice to tie it all together but you could still make out each well selected ingredient. I highly recommend the Mt. Laurel roll = amazing! The seaweed salad was fresh and not soggy with too much dressing. ( as I have experienced in other places) The tea was hot and fresh as well.
The service is great. The waitresses help every table, so you never have to wait for anything. I love a place that recognizes how nice it is to have a beverage to sip on as you wait for the rest of your party or just browse the menu. And more importantly, it's even better when your water glass never makes it to empty. The wait for a table and service wasn't long, being that there was a lot of people here.
Next time that I come here, I'm going straight for more of the chef's specialty rolls, they sounded and looked so good.
For a rating, this place gets 4.5 stars.
